Schuylerville – Shenendehowa advanced to the Sectional final with a convincing 3-1 win over Shaker. Shen’s offense was led by junior Kristen Connors, who accounted for all three goals.

Connors first goal came about seven minutes in after a quick move in the box and she followed it about fourteen minutes in with a rebound finish off a shot by Emily DePoy. Connors third goal staked Shen to a 3-0 lead with about 18 minutes left in the second half off a nice lead pass from senior Erin Luibrand. Sophomore goalie Makala Foley played another strong game, despite a meaningless late Shaker goal, and made 13 saves behind another solid effort by Shen’s defense.
