Coach Alderman enters her fifth year as the Junior Varsity Girls Soccer Coach. During her career at Shen, Coach Alderman holds a 67-9-5 record.

Alderman attended Elmira College. She was a four year starter on the Varsity squad, and was the team Captain her junior and senior years. Alderman was on the NSCAA All-Regional teams her junior and senior years. In her junior year she was named Elmira College Female Athlete of the Year. She led the Elmira College Women's Soccer team to the NCAA Tournament in her junior year and the ECAC tournament her senior year.

Alderman graduated with high honors from Elmira in 1999 with her degree in Elementary Education, with a minor in Mathematics. She continued to attend Elmira College for her Masters Degree in Reading Education. While pursuing her Graduate degree, Alderman assisted in the coaching of the Varsity and JV teams at Elmira.

Alderman coached club soccer in the Elmira area while attending undergraduate and graduate school. Upon returning to the Capital District in 2001, she coached her home club team in Brunswick, NY as well as started as an assistant coach in the Clifton Park club soccer organization.

Currently, Alderman teaches sixth grade math and reading in Gowana Middle School.
